RANDOM FACTS

In 2024, I was introduced to Australian Rules Football under the AFL Nine rules, and in the same year, I founded the Melbourne Loong Football Club, the first team of its kind for the Chinese community in Victoria. With a current roster of about 15 members, we train fortnightly and participate in the AFL Nine community games.
Our mission is to provide a space where Chinese-Australians can experience the excitement of AFL, foster friendships, and strengthen community bonds. We are always recruiting new members, whether you’re an experienced player or just starting out. Come join us on this exciting journey!

I hold an MBA from the University of Melbourne and have over 20 years of business experience in both the private and public sectors.

I am a dedicated community advocate, having volunteered at local schools, supported emerging artists, mentored youth, and assisted senior citizen groups.

Born in Jiangsu, China, I immigrated to South Australia in 2010 and moved to Victoria in 2014.
I’m the proud mother of Edgar Chen, an exceptionally talented young violinist currently studying at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing footy, hiking, reading books - I'm a crazy bookworm - and cooking.
