As An Author

I am a trilingual author with a deep passion for language and storytelling. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Japanese Language and Literature., and I am fluent in Mandarin, Japanese, and English. Over the years, I’ve published numerous articles in all three languages, exploring diverse themes and cultures. My works often focus on social issues, the everyday lives of ordinary people, and reflections on life itself. Through my writing, I aim to bridge linguistic and cultural divides, creating narratives that resonate on a global scale. My debut book, In the Town Hall (Chinese version), was published in Australia in 2024, with the English version set to be released in 2025.

As A Councillor

I was elected Councillor for the City of Glen Eira in November 2020 and re-elected in November 2024. I also served as Deputy Mayor for the 2021/22 Council year.  As a Councillor, I am committed to responsible rates, high-quality core services, enhanced community safety, increased green spaces and tree canopy, reducing inappropriate development, improving sporting facilities, and supporting local businesses. During my first term on the council, I served as Chair of the Arts and Culture Advisory Committee, the Community Grants and Awards Advisory Committee, and the Multicultural Advisory Committee.

As A Footy Player

In 2024, I was introduced to Australian Rules Football under the AFL Nine rules, and in the same year, I founded the Melbourne Loong Football Club, the first team of its kind for the Chinese community in Victoria. With a current roster of about 15 members, we train fortnightly and participate in the AFL Nine community games. Our mission is to provide a space where Chinese-Australians can experience the excitement of AFL, foster friendships, and strengthen community bonds. We are always recruiting new members, whether you’re an experienced player or just starting out. Come join us on this exciting journey!
